The history of night markets by Shelly

Since our topic is all about night markets, in case you don't understand our culture, let me introduce its history to you briefly now. I searched for it on the Internet and found a better answer in Wikipedia - "Chinese night markets appeared in history as early as AD 836 when the Tang dynasty issued regulations for what were already advanced operations and, by the Song dynasty, these markets had spread throughout the realm. These markets sold an array of goods and prepared food and were often located on main thoroughfares or near red-light districts."
Today, night markets or night bazaars are the markets that do business at night. They often are tourist attractions in tropical and subtropical countries. They symbolize folk life in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Southeast Asia, etc. So if you're in Taiwan currently and you're not Taiwanese, be sure to mark night markets tour as a must-go.
