Ha~long time no see! How have you been lately? Have you got the chance to eat something delicious recently? Now I'm going to introduce to you a special thing called "sliced sweet potato"in Chin Nian night market. The English name of the snack is translated from its original Chinese name. As you may imagine, no matter you're a Chinese native speaker or a foreigner, you would think that the shape of the food must be a strip. That's what I thought,too. However, after I opened the box, I found out they were like cubes. Well, not all of them are, like, exactly cubes, but most of them were similar to cubes.
Okay, so now you get a general picture of what I am talking about. Let's talk about its content and its cooking process. This snack mainly contains sweet potato and sugar. The sweet potato is first cut into cubes and deep fried. Then they put them in melt sugar so that it will have a sugar coat. Then, it's finished! It's an easy snack which you can cook by yourself at home.
The taste of the food is really great! DON'T THINK THAT THEY ARE JUST SWEET POTATO!
They are really really soft on the inside and crispy on the outside!

Well, there are many vendors selling Indian milk tea in night markets but there is a particularly popular stand in the middle part of Chin-nian night market. We gave it a try and the Indian milk tea was unforgettably delicious. You should be able to locate it because there will be people lining up in front of you. Get in the line as soon as you see it. It will serve as a wonderful combination with the sliced sweet potato.
